As soon as possible

GROUP EXHIBITION

About the project
Your time is precious, your attention span is limited, and your Wi-Fi is part of your existence. Could you think of the meaning when it can be delivered instantly? You are running, but answers arrive before you can finish your sentence and scroll faster than your thumb.

Rituals of daily life become unusual performances. Logos transform as identities, screens whisper instructions, and repetitions become infinite. We were told that technology would liberate us. Instead, it now makes decisions for us while we wait patiently for the page to be uploaded.

The background glows with comforting colors. Here, the pink seeps like a filter, polishing critique and concealing discomfort with optimistic color.

But while we are busy accelerating, another rhythm plays in the background: the slow destruction of the planet, the casual militarisation of life, and the endless loop of global conflict come as breaking news. Urgency is everywhere, but we are not currently addressing any urgent issues.

And we wonder, what happens when the world insists everything must happen as soon as possible, including its own collapse?
